What’s your favorite month of the year? Why?
Not much to be added. New York does not have four seasons. Except for the hotel, maybe. Only summer and winter exist here. They usually battle it out, like a narcissistic couple on their Honeymoon. Some years they do a little dance.
But usually by May they have worked it out. I recall one year when it snowed in the first week of May, but only for a night and the next day it was all gone.
I call it the NY weather YoYo. T-shirt weather days will happen as early as March. But then the cold will come right back. So the seasons are collecting brownie points to outdo each other until May comes around.
The opposite happens in the Fall. You could go out in a t-shirt in the afternoon and come back at night catching hypothermia because the temperature has suddenly dropped by 30 degrees within a few hours.
Go figure. NEw YorkeRS are known to be a bit schizophrenic , why would the weather be any different?
